Main Resposibilities:
Reports to the General ManagerIndonesia and functionally to the Sr Manager, Data Production, APAC. regarding all database operational issues.
Responsible to initiate and manage all aspects of the database projects related to the navigable databases of Indonesia
Prepare detailed coverage and content proposals for Indonesia for discussion with Program Planning and Management
Prepare detailed project planning and budget for all database projects for Indonesia in close collaboration with Data Production,
Data Sourcing and Technology Integration Departments
Co-ordinate with related departments (i.e. Data Production, Data Sourcing and Technology Integration Departments) as well as the Product Create group to ensure that the database coverage and content projects for Indonesia are handled as per database program and within budget and timing parameters
Report to Program Planning and Management on project status on a monthly basis
Take ownership and required action for all specific database-related issues (quality, content, coverage)
Ensure a continued and in-depth understanding of the competitiveness of the Indonesia databases vis-à-vis other map suppliers and maintain a status overview for internal reporting
Manage personal planning of tasks on defined priorities in order to deliver the needed information in time and report results accordingly
Support other departments on information and local knowledge of the Indonesia databases
Requirements:
Higher degree in applied sciences (preferably geography or IT)
Project management skills with minimum 5 years experience in similar capacity and preferably with multinational companies
Have necessary skill to work with Ms excel and Ms word
Basic knowledge of Ms Access, GIS (MapInfo, ESRI ArcView) and Ms Project
