PT Bambu is a Green Design-Build company experienced in bamboo construction and manufacturing of 100% sustainable architecture, custom interiors and ecological, designer furniture for private residences, commercial properties, offices, restaurants and schools. Our philosophy is to reinvent bamboo vernacular from the traditional uses to an internationally recognized building material. Besides all the environmental reasons such as sustainability and ecological bi-products, we build in bamboo because its strength and beauty is insurmountable.
Among one of PT Bambu major portfolios is the groundbreaking Greenschool, located in Bali, Indonesia, a landmark use of the strength, flexibility, and tenacity of this natural product. Creating a platform for this pioneering school is environmentally conscious design meeting organic, contemporary architecture. PT Bambu, a member of the US Green Building Council, is dedicated in harvesting bamboo responsibly using clump management, ecological treatment for preservation against boring insects, sustainable building, and furniture manufacture without harmful finishes and glues.
Furthermore, we are designing an entire Eco-Resort Lodge on a group of Islands in the Seychelles which is the future. Certification of bamboo as a viable building material has already happened in Hawaii and is only a matter of time before the world catches up. We plan on taking bamboo to another level of appreciation. PT Bambu will be a part of this movement.
